I am grateful to be able to practice my craft as an illustrator as well as a fine artist. I try to tell a visual story in each of my paintings. The 'narrative' I tell most often revolves around the theme of a cyclical world, the changing seasons, and capturing that all important moment in time.

After graduating from Herron School of Art, I became an advertising and editorial illustrator. I spent more than 20 years working for local and national agencies before my interest in painting influenced me to rethink my artistic direction.

I now divide my time equally between illustration and fine art. I enjoy the challenge of retelling an author's story visually through illustration, but relish having total creative control of my fine art. I have completed eight children's books which have sold nearly 100,000 copies. Three Cups, a book my husband and I self-published, has been licensed to Thomas Nelson - one of the largest publishers in the world.

I have been in more than 38 juried art competitions and exhibitions and have won numerous awards, both locally and nationally. My paintings are also a part of permanent collections in many businesses throughout the region.

My studio and gallery is located in the Indiana Design Center in Carmel, Indiana. I also reside in Carmel with my husband, Scott, who in addition to co-owning an advertising agency in Indianapolis, designs furniture, books and 3-dimensional art. We have two, wonderful adult children Adrienne and Nicholas.
